IMPORTANT NOTE: Medication errors have occurred between LAMICTAL or lamotrigine and other medications, most commonly Lamisil®,* lamivudine, Ludiomil®,* labetalol, and Lomotil®.* To avoid a medication error of using the wrong drug, patients should be strongly advised to visually inspect their tablets to verify that they are receiving LAMICTAL each time they fill their prescription.
